Life As We Knew It - Susan Beth Pfeffer I loved the plot/premise. The writer did her research, so that makes the natural disaster apocalypse junkie in me happy. I used to watch a lot of Discovery channel, so every time they had a show about possible end of the world scenarios I would watch it. Didn't help my paranoia when I was younger. LOL

The diary-style format really suited the story, and kept it simple for younger readers. (The goal audience).

The narrator, Miranda, really got on my nerves, but by the end of the novel she started to not annoy me so much.
